Why Build Union?
We felt it important to say something about our most
precious asset: our workforce. We are proud to
say our highly skilled craftspeople are all from the trade unions. Our
plasterers, finishers, and
carpenters are from the Bricklayers, Painters, and Carpenters Unions,
respectively.
We are proud of our association with these trade unions. The hard
work and dedication of the union
worker is the very reason we have grown and succeeded where so many
others have failed.
Why build Union you ask? To answer in one word....balance. Contrary to the negative things you may
have heard about
unions, it has overall been a very positive experience for us and our clients.
We are
able to provide
our clients with a highly skilled, professional workforce with full safety
training and in
sufficient quantity to
get the job done on time.
Another benefit to our clients and us of being Union is we pay
our hardworking, dedicated craftspeople a
fair living wage, decent medical benefits and a respectable
retirement for them and their families. It is
our belief that to truly be successful you must
balance your success to include those who make it
happen. Union wages are not oppressive or excessive,
they are a living wage - simply defined as
enough money to maintain a decent life for a worker.
To pay our people less in order to make more
profit or lower our price to our clients
would tilt the balance toward unfair. It would favor financial gain
over the suffrage or
hardship of our employees and their loved ones. I do not believe the word
"success"
can be derived from such action.
When a company or organization hires a union contractor they are making a
statement of support to the
community. Most of our clients are looking for a balance. They want
a highly skilled and trained
workforce that works safely, does a quality job, on schedule, and at the best
price, but not at the cost
of taking advantage of the workers, not at seeing them paid substandard wages
and benefits. That is
why we are Union, it gives us the balance we need to be truly successful.
Why Build Accurate?
While the aforementioned "Why Build Union" clearly identifies the
benefits of building union we at
Accurate know you cannot forget that all projects live and die by their budget.
In order to stay within
our client's budgets, we (with the help of the Unions) train our people in the
best methods of productivity
in the industry. We also equip them with the latest in tool and equipment
technology available.
We take the best trained work force out there, equip them with the latest
technology, apply the most
productive methods and closely monitor all phases of our costs. That is
how we get it done on time and
on budget without compromising quality and/or safety. In addition, as
mentioned elsewhere on our site,
the tremendous experience level of our management team also brings a whole other
level of value to our
clients. The cost savings methods and pitfall avoidance that this
experience brings to a project is
second to none.
Combine all this with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and you can
see the benefit Accurate
can bring to your organization.
